Downtown Laramie Activities
Downtown activities are a tradition during Laramie Jubilee Days. Although the activities have varied greatly over the years, some things have become a staple. The Downtown Street Dances held Thursday through Saturday nights have been around for many years. The free pancake breakfast has also become an expected favorite. You can bet that the stores downtown will always have some activities planned during the day for the entire family to enjoy.

Bryan Ragsdale to play for Street Dances Friday and Saturday!
Bryan Ragsdale is a MODERN DAY MOUNTAIN MAN from Wyoming who writes songs about living life under a big blue sky. Known as the eco-cowboy, his music refects the values he was raised with, the values he teaches his own children, ideals that are often overlooked in mainstream music today. Bryan redefines “cowboy cool” for the modern world with an upbeat mix of country, bluegrass, and folk with a little old fashioned cowboy swagger thrown in for good measure.
TJ Casey will perform Downtown Friday and Saturday
When this larger-than-life artist steps under the spotlight, looks you in the eye, strums the strings on his guitar and opens his mouth to sing, the cowboy from his soul communicates with you . . . you live the song, the poem, the story. You smell trail dust and campfire smoke, feel sweat and grit on your brow, taste the blessed refreshment of clear spring water after a long, hot day of work…

Downtown Laramie Brew FestThe Downtown Laramie Brew Fest is one of the Downtown Laramie Business Association’s primary fundraisers and it is gaining popularity each year. Since its inception in 2006, the Downtown Laramie Brew Fest has grown in scope and size, attracting more breweries, more sponsors and more participants.
In 2009, the Brew Fest hosted 900 people who enjoyed live music, barbeque concessions, and beer samples from over twenty breweries from across the nation. Participants of the brew fest experience a laid back afternoon in the Downtown’s Depot Park, where they are given the opportunity to sample dozens of specialty ales, vote on their favorites and visit with brewers about their craft beers. At the end of the afternoon, many participants stay downtown to eat dinner and enjoy the Jubilee Days carnival and street dance. In its four years, the Downtown Laramie Brew Fest has become a Jubilee Days Tradition.
The 2010 Brew Fest will be Saturday July 10 from 1-6 PM at the Depot Park. Hope to see you there!
